Cattery & Cat Boarding near Ashwood
Elgar Road Vet is the perfect place to find a loving and secure cattery service near Ashwood and nearby communities.
For more than a quarter of a century, our team has been offering cat boarding services, giving your feline companions a place to stay whether it's for a short or long period.
HISTORY
D.B. Boarding was first started when a young vet nurse named Devon Bayly saw the need for a cat boarding service amongst the veterinary clientele. Since those early days almost nothing has changed. The idea of providing a safe, comfortable, caring environment for cats when they are away from home remains strong.
ETHOS
We strive to provide unparalleled care for your cat. Our team takes the time to get to know each cat and fulfill their specific requirements. Whether your cat loves to lounge in the sun, receive chin rubs and head butts, prefer to keep to themselves, or enjoy chasing water droplets around, we've got it all covered. Our experienced staff carefully observe every boarder and remain alert for any signs of discomfort or trouble. Whether it's providing extra cuddles, trying a new food flavour, or arranging a veterinary check-up, we guarantee that our clients' beloved felines are in competent hands.
FOOD
To keep changes to a minimum and maintain your cat's diet routine, we request that you provide us with details of your cat's dietary preferences on our Admission Form. We understand that cats are creatures of habit and prefer to stick to what they know.
We cater to your cat's dietary preferences by offering a selection of premium feline diets, such as Advance, Hills Science and Hills Prescription Diets, Royal Canin Veterinary diets, and a variety of Whiskas soft food.
To keep fussy eaters happy and satisfied during their stay, we suggest that clients bring along their cat's preferred diets to our facility.
MEDICATION
Our team is trained to care for cats with special needs, including those on medication for hyperthyroidism, high blood pressure, or kidney and urinary tract issues. Our on-site veterinary clinic located within the cattery premises enables our duty veterinarian to attend to any emergencies or issues promptly.
For cats with special needs that require medication, a medication surcharge of $1.50-$3.00 per day applies. We also cater to diabetic cats at D.B. Boarding. For more information, please get in touch with us by phone or email.
