Cattery & Cat Boarding near Burwood East
Elgar Road Vet is the perfect place to find a loving and secure cattery service near Burwood East and nearby communities.
For more than a quarter of a century, our team has been offering cat boarding services, giving your feline companions a place to stay whether it's for a short or long period.
D.B. Boarding was established by Devon Bayly, a young vet nurse, when she recognised the demand for a cat boarding service among her veterinary clients. Since then, little has changed, and the notion of providing a secure, cosy, and compassionate environment for cats while they're away from home persists.
At our facility, our staff is dedicated to providing the best possible care for your cat. We take pride in getting to know each feline and making sure their unique needs are met. Whether your cat prefers basking in the sun, getting chin rubs and headbutts, being independent and aloof, or chasing water droplets around the sink, we can cater to their needs. Our experienced and knowledgeable team closely monitors each boarder for any signs of distress. If necessary, we offer extra attention, a change in food, or a visit to the vet to ensure the well-being and happiness of our clients' beloved pets.
To keep changes to a minimum and maintain your cat's diet routine, we request that you provide us with details of your cat's dietary preferences on our Admission Form. We understand that cats are creatures of habit and prefer to stick to what they know.
We offer a range of premium feline diets, including Advance, Hills Science and Hills Prescription Diets, and Royal Canin Veterinary diets. We also have a wide selection of Whiskas soft food available.
If your cat is a fussy eater, we recommend that you bring along their preferred diets to keep them content and comfortable during their stay with us.
Our team is trained to care for cats with special needs, including those on medication for hyperthyroidism, high blood pressure, or kidney and urinary tract issues. Our on-site veterinary clinic located within the cattery premises enables our duty veterinarian to attend to any emergencies or issues promptly.
For cats with special needs that require medication, a medication surcharge of $1.50-$3.00 per day applies. We also cater to diabetic cats at D.B. Boarding. For more information, please get in touch with us by phone or email.

We take the health and safety of all cats in our care seriously at D.B. Boarding, which is why we require a current Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu (F3 or F4) vaccination and a certificate to be shown before admission. Additionally, we recommend that cats have up-to-date FIV (Feline AIDS) vaccination.
The staff at D.B. Boarding is passionate and dedicated to providing excellent care for cats, and their love for felines is apparent.
