Over the years, little has altered at D.B. Boarding since Devon Bayly, a young vet nurse, recognised the need for a cat boarding service among veterinary clients and established the business. At our facility, our staff is dedicated to providing the best possible care for your cat. We take pride in getting to know each feline and making sure their unique needs are met. Whether your cat prefers basking in the sun, getting chin rubs and headbutts, being independent and aloof, or chasing water droplets around the sink, we can cater to their needs. Our experienced and knowledgeable team closely monitors each boarder for any signs of distress. If necessary, we offer extra attention, a change in food, or a visit to the vet to ensure the well-being and happiness of our clients' beloved pets. 

FOOD

At our facility, we understand that cats thrive on routine and consistency, which is why we recommend maintaining their regular diet as much as possible. For this reason, we ask our clients to provide us with their cat's dietary preferences through our Admission Form. 

We understand that cats have diverse dietary needs, which is why we provide a variety of premium feline diets. Our selection includes Advance, Hills Science and Hills Prescription Diets, Royal Canin Veterinary diets, and a vast array of Whiskas soft food to suit different tastes and preferences. 

For fussy eaters, we recommend that clients bring along their cat's preferred diets to ensure they are comfortable and content during their stay. 

MEDICATION

Our team is proficient in taking care of cats with special requirements, such as those requiring medication for hyperthyroidism, high blood pressure, or kidney and urinary tract issues. Our on-site veterinary clinic situated within the cattery ensures that any problems or emergencies are addressed instantaneously by our duty veterinarian. 

 

For cats with special needs that require medication, a medication surcharge of $1.50-$3.00 per day applies. We also cater to diabetic cats at D.B. Boarding. For more information, please get in touch with us by phone or email.

Weekdays 9.00 to 10.00am and 4.30-6.00pm
Saturdays 9.00-11.00am

Sundays 10.00-11.00am

We are closed for admitting and discharging on all public holidays.

VACCINATIONS

At D.B. Boarding, the safety and well-being of all cats in our care is paramount. Therefore, we request that all cats have a current Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu (F3 or F4) vaccination, and a certificate is shown prior to admission. We also recommend up-to-date FIV (Feline AIDS) vaccination.
