Looking for a safe and caring cattery for your feline friends near Holmesglen? Elgar Road Vet has got you covered.
With a 25-year history of boarding cats, our team can provide your furry buddies with a comfortable and safe place to stay, whether it's for a brief or extended period.
HISTORY
D.B. Boarding was established by Devon Bayly, a young vet nurse, when she recognised the demand for acat boarding service among her veterinary clients. Since then, little has changed, and the notion of providing a secure, cosy, and compassionate environment for cats while they're away from home persists.
ETHOS
At our facility, our staff is dedicated to providing the best possible care for your cat. We take pride in getting to know each feline and making sure their unique needs are met. Whether your cat prefers basking in the sun, getting chin rubs and headbutts, being independent and aloof, or chasing water droplets around the sink, we can cater to their needs. Our experienced and knowledgeable team closely monitors each boarder for any signs of distress. If necessary, we offer extra attention, a change in food, or a visit to the vet to ensure the well-being and happiness of our clients' beloved pets.
FOOD
To ensure that your cat's routine isn't disrupted, we suggest sticking to their home diet as closely as possible. Therefore, we kindly request that clients provide us with their cat's dietary preferences on our Admission Form.
We offer a range of premium feline diets, including Advance, Hills Science and Hills Prescription Diets, and Royal Canin Veterinary diets. We also have a wide selection of Whiskas soft food available.
To keep fussy eaters happy and satisfied during their stay, we suggest that clients bring along their cat's preferred diets to our facility.
MEDICATION
Our team is proficient in taking care of cats with special requirements, such as those requiring medication for hyperthyroidism, high blood pressure, or kidney and urinary tract issues. Our on-site veterinary clinic situated within the cattery ensures that any problems or emergencies are addressed instantaneously by our duty veterinarian.
At D.B. Boarding, a medication surcharge ranging from $1.50 to $3.00 per day applies to cats with special requirements that need medication. We also offer care for diabetic cats. Please contact us via phone or email for further information.
