HISTORY
Devon Bayly, a young veterinary nurse, founded D.B. Boarding after seeing a need for cat boarding services among her veterinary clients. Since those early days, very little has changed, and the company's focus on providing cats with a safe, comfortable, and loving environment when they're away from home remains as strong as ever.
ETHOS
At our facility, our staff is dedicated to providing the best possible care for your cat. We take pride in getting to know each feline and making sure their unique needs are met. Whether your cat prefers basking in the sun, getting chin rubs and headbutts, being independent and aloof, or chasing water droplets around the sink, we can cater to their needs. Our experienced and knowledgeable team closely monitors each boarder for any signs of distress. If necessary, we offer extra attention, a change in food, or a visit to the vet to ensure the well-being and happiness of our clients' beloved pets.
FOOD
At D.B. Boarding, we recognise that cats are creatures of habit, and keeping to their home diet is essential. That's why we request that our clients provide us with their cat's dietary preferences on our Admission Form to maintain their routine and minimise disruptions.
We cater to your cat's dietary preferences by offering a selection of premium feline diets, such as Advance, Hills Science and Hills Prescription Diets, Royal Canin Veterinary diets, and a variety of Whiskas soft food.
If your cat is a fussy eater, we recommend that you bring along their preferred diets to keep them content and comfortable during their stay with us.
MEDICATION
Our staff are highly skilled and experienced in caring for cats with special needs, such as those requiring medication for hyperthyroidism, high blood pressure, kidney, or urinary tract issues. Our on-site veterinary clinic ensures that any emergencies or concerns are addressed immediately by our duty veterinarian.
At D.B. Boarding, a medication surcharge ranging from $1.50 to $3.00 per day applies to cats with special requirements that need medication. We also offer care for diabetic cats. Please contact us via phone or email for further information.
