Cattery & Cat Boarding near Vermont
Looking for a safe and caring cattery for your feline friends near Vermont? Elgar Road Vet has got you covered.
For more than a quarter of a century, our team has been offering cat boarding services, giving your feline companions a place to stay whether it's for a short or long period.
HISTORY
D.B. Boarding was established by Devon Bayly, a young vet nurse, when she recognised the demand for a cat boarding service among her veterinary clients. Since then, little has changed, and the notion of providing a secure, cosy, and compassionate environment for cats while they're away from home persists.
ETHOS
We strive to provide unparalleled care for your cat. Our team takes the time to get to know each cat and fulfill their specific requirements. Whether your cat loves to lounge in the sun, receive chin rubs and head butts, prefer to keep to themselves, or enjoy chasing water droplets around, we've got it all covered. Our experienced staff carefully observe every boarder and remain alert for any signs of discomfort or trouble. Whether it's providing extra cuddles, trying a new food flavour, or arranging a veterinary check-up, we guarantee that our clients' beloved felines are in competent hands.
FOOD
At D.B. Boarding, we recognise that cats are creatures of habit, and keeping to their home diet is essential. That's why we request that our clients provide us with their cat's dietary preferences on our Admission Form to maintain their routine and minimise disruptions.
We understand that cats have diverse dietary needs, which is why we provide a variety of premium feline diets. Our selection includes Advance, Hills Science and Hills Prescription Diets, Royal Canin Veterinary diets, and a vast array of Whiskas soft food to suit different tastes and preferences.
We understand that some cats can be fussy eaters. To ensure their comfort, we kindly request that clients bring along their cat's preferred diets.
MEDICATION
Our team is proficient in taking care of cats with special requirements, such as those requiring medication for hyperthyroidism, high blood pressure, or kidney and urinary tract issues. Our on-site veterinary clinic situated within the cattery ensures that any problems or emergencies are addressed instantaneously by our duty veterinarian.
For cats with special needs that require medication, a medication surcharge of $1.50-$3.00 per day applies. We also cater to diabetic cats at D.B. Boarding. For more information, please get in touch with us by phone or email.
