Cattery & Cat Boarding near Kew
Our team has been boarding cats for over 25 years, providing both long and short-term accommodation options for your furry friends.
HISTORY
D.B. Boarding was first started when a young vet nurse named Devon Bayly saw the need for a cat boarding service amongst the veterinary clientele. Since those early days almost nothing has changed. The idea of providing a safe, comfortable, caring environment for cats when they are away from home remains strong.
ETHOS
Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care for your cat. We take pride in getting to know each cat and meeting their individual needs. Whether your feline enjoys sunbathing in the afternoons, getting chin scratches and head butts, prefers to be independent and aloof, or loves chasing droplets of water around the sink, we have it all covered. Our skilled and knowledgeable staff keep a close eye on every boarder and remain vigilant for any signs that something might be amiss. If extra cuddles, a different food flavour, or a trip to the vet is necessary, clients can be confident that their beloved cat is in capable hands.
FOOD
At our facility, we understand that cats thrive on routine and consistency, which is why we recommend maintaining their regular diet as much as possible. For this reason, we ask our clients to provide us with their cat's dietary preferences through our Admission Form.
We cater to your cat's dietary preferences by offering a selection of premium feline diets, such as Advance, Hills Science and Hills Prescription Diets, Royal Canin Veterinary diets, and a variety of Whiskas soft food.
If your cat is a fussy eater, we recommend that you bring along their preferred diets to keep them content and comfortable during their stay with us.
MEDICATION
Our team is proficient in taking care of cats with special requirements, such as those requiring medication for hyperthyroidism, high blood pressure, or kidney and urinary tract issues. Our on-site veterinary clinic situated within the cattery ensures that any problems or emergencies are addressed instantaneously by our duty veterinarian.
Please note that a medication surcharge of $1.50-$3.00 per day applies to cats with special needs requiring medication. We are also equipped to care for diabetic cats. Please contact us via phone or email for more information.
