Cat Boarding Box Hill

HISTORY

D.B. Boarding was first started over 25 years ago when a young vet nurse named Devon Bayly saw the need for a cat boarding service amongst the veterinary clientele.  Since those early days nearly everything has changed.  The idea of providing a safe, comfortable, caring environment for cats when they are away from home remains strong.

ETHOS

Our staff are committed to providing your cat with the best care possible.  We pride ourselves on getting to know each cat and do our utmost to ensure his/her individual needs are met.  Whether your cat likes to sun itself in the afternoons, receive head butts and chin tickles, prefers to be independent and aloof or loves to chase drips of water around the sink, we can provide.  Our experienced and knowlegeable staff monitor each boarder closely and are on the look out for any indications that may suggest that everything is "not right".  Whether the solution is extra cuddles, a different flavour of food or a visit tot the vet, clients can be assured that the welfare and happiness of their precious feline s in capable hands.

FOOD

Cats are creatures of habit and to keep the number of changes down to a minimum, we find it is best to stick to the diet your cat receives at home.  As such, we request you provide us with details of your cat's dietary preferences on our Admission Form.
D.B. Boarding provides a number of premium range feline diets - Advance, Hills Science and Hills Prescription Diets and Royal Canin Veterinary diets.  We also have a large variety of Whiskas available in soft food.
We request that fussy eaters bring along their own preferred diets.

FAQs

Cats are full of energy and are used to running around and lot's of play. Most cats settle in really quickly and we always pay a lot of attention to ones that need a bit more love. We always encourage owners to bring some familiar toys from home to make the transition easier.

The biggest step is finding the right Cattery for your cat. Cats love space to move around, play and groom, which is why 100s of customers trust us. Call us today for more information.

We advise that your cat is at least 6 months old before spending time in our Box Hill cattery. However, as long as your cat has had all it's vaccinations it should be okay.
We make sure that your cat is given the same comforts that he/she gets at home. We want to give your cat a similar experience to reduce stress, discomfort and anxiousness. For anymore information on our process don't hesitate to call one of our staff.
