Meet Devon

Devon started her time at the clinic in year 12 in the mid ’70’s helping out in the cattery and going on to be a vet nurse. In the late 1990’s Devon, the first ever vet nurse to own a vet clinic, along with and a group of partners established Elgar Road Veterinary Hospital and managed the practice until her retirement in 2019. We are blessed to still have Devon as part of our team, helping our when we need staffing cover. Her enthusiasm is boundless and she often greats our long term clients with smiling hugs.

A life long love for all animals, a passion for the environment and our native flora & fauna, Devon has now settled in the Yarra Valley and spends every available moment working her farm with her husband.

Family, pets including horses, and travel also form her interests though finding enough time to fit it all in is still her main hurdle.
